Apple just announced iOS 14 onstage at WWDC 2020, giving us the first official look at the revamped iPhone software.
Its biggest update ever, the redesigned home screen now features widgets that can be pinned in unique and stylish ways. They also introduced the App Library, which allows you to ditch the sloppy folder organization of old for one simple, easy-to-navigate view that automatically organizes based on category and usage.
FaceTime and phone call notifications also got a sleek redesign, no longer taking over your screen in a dramatic way. Messages received a handful of new features as well, most notably "@" mentions and inline replies for lively group chats.
And our favorite piece? Digital car keys, allowing you to ditch the clunky car keys of old and slim down your EDC. They're kicking things off with BMW first but expect most automakers to join the club shortly after, much like when CarPlay arrived a few years back.
