After revamping the GameBoy in the coolest way possible, Analogue is back with a new system overhaul that drips with style and good taste. It's called the Duo and is an "all-in-one reimagining of perhaps the most underappreciated video game systems of all time." And though we personally consider that the PSP, they're talking about the NEC and its various formats from the early days of video gaming: TurboGrafx-16, PC Engine, SuperGrafx, etc.
Featuring a sleek build with support for Bluetooth and USB controllers, it packs both a cartridge slot and disc drive for compatibility with a wide range of NEC game types and will deliver 1080p clarity with zero lag.
It's due to release sometime next year and will be priced at $200 USD. And though there's no pre-order page just yet, interested buyers can enter their email address here to be the first to know when it goes live.
