The coolest (and most luxurious) way to wake up is with the magical Ferrolic Display Alarm Clock. Basically, the ink that looks like Venom from Spider-Man comics is a substance called Ferrofluid--an expensive liquid rocket fuel that was created by NASA in the 60's so they could manipulate fuel in a weightless environment via magnets. Here, the frame connects to WiFi and manipulates the substances (again, via magnets) to display the time in an impossibly awesome way.

Priced at $8,300 and with a limited availability of just 24 units, this little thing is more art than a practical bedside accessory, but it sure is beautiful. Hat tip to Hypebeast for the find.
