Heaven's Door Whiskey, co-created by the legendary Bob Dylan, will release two limited edition expressions this year that you definitely need to have on your radar.
The first is the final release of its 10 Year Tennessee Straight Bourbon ($129), a rich and full-bodied 100 proof bourbon that comes inside a cool commemorative box clad with a print of Bob Dylan's original hand-typed lyrics. It's set to release later this month in time for Father's Day and already available to pre-order.
The second is Heaven's Door Bootleg Series ($499), a 25-year-old whiskey that pays tribute to Dylan's 'Bootleg Series' albums and is finished in Japanese Mizunara oak casks for a truly unique flavor. Because of the global boom in Japanese whiskey, Mizunara oak is increasingly difficult to track down, so Japan has created an annual auction of the oak with a small supply going to the highest bidders. It's due out in very limited quantities at the end of the year with bottle images and additional information to drop closer to release. Bottom's up!
