To non-designers, you might not know the typeface by name. But you're guaranteed to have seen it before. Over and over and over again. 

Turns out, it's been one of the most popular fonts used in movie posters since 1989, when it was originally created by typeface designer Carol Twombly. But why? This video dives into its history and explains how it devoured Hollywood poster design.
