You won't have to sit too patiently for new episodes of Lupin, the buzzy French caper show from Netflix which launched to global success last month. The streaming platform has officially revealed we'll receive Part Two of the first season this summer, with series creators George Kay and François Uzan back at the helm. Breakout star Omar Sy, who plays a Bond-like gentleman thief inspired by novelist Maurice Leblanc’s Arsène Lupin character, will also be returning.
Unfortunately, Part Two will only consist of five episodes, just like Part One, with no official plans – as of now – for additional stories and seasons. But we're optimistic Netflix has big ambitions for its new sleeper hit.
In fact, the series creators recently stated in an interview that they're actively story-lining right now and have "real confidence" that a second season, and beyond, will happen.
