Quibi 101: What It Is and What to Watch

Quibi is an upcoming subscription streaming platform filled with episodic shows that run roughly seven to ten minutes in length. It's designed for mobile and set to launch on April 6.  And though the concept alone is interesting and unique, the star-studded shows are what have us excited.

A remake of The Fugitive starring Kiefer Sutherland (24) and Boyd Holbrook (Narcos) is leading the launch alongside action thriller Most Dangerous Game starring Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games) and Christoph Waltz (Spectre). Plane crash drama Survive with Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) also has us amped.

It won't only be scripted programs either, as various reality and news programs will be launching with the platform including an automotive series hosted by Migos member and car aficionado Offset.

Quibi will be going live with a two-tier pricing system of $4.99/month with ads and $7.99/month without. But if you download the app and sign up before launch, you'll get 90 days of the service free.
