With summer coming in hot and the majority of television shows on hiatus, a lot of people tune into Netflix to get their TV fix and catch up on old flicks and dramas. If you're struggling with what to watch next, we couldn't recommended the show Terriers more. It's about an ex-cop and recovering alcoholic who partners with his best friend (and a former thief) to run an unlicensed private investigation business in the sunny San Diego area.
It's the perfect mix of light-hearted fun, the bond between partners, and pulse-pounding crime. By the second half of the season, you won't be able to stop watching. It's some seriously good stuff.
Because of the bad name (this show has nothing to do with dogs) and bad timing, FX cancelled Terriers after only one season. The good news, though, is that the first season wraps up beautifully and you only have 13 episodes to watch, a far less daunting tasks than the 154 episodes of The West Wing or a few slow seasons of Downton Abbey.
Here's the (somewhat cheesy) trailer for the show. It may not look like much, but we can't recommend it more. Give it a try.
