Upcoming 'Dune' Book Features Its Own Hans Zimmer Soundtrack and More

Publishing house Insight Editions is set to release The Art and Soul of Dune alongside the release of the movie on Oct. 22, which is written by Dune executive producer Tanya Lapointe and offers a "uniquely candid account of the hugely ambitious international shoot" with gorgeous concept art, breakdowns of digital effects, intricate costume detailing, and interviews with Timothée Chalamet, who plays Paul Atreides, Rebecca Ferguson, who plays Lady Jessica, and Oscar Isaac, who plays Duke Leto Atreides. The book will also unlock a free download of a dedicated Hans Zimmer soundtrack, which is designed to accompany your readthrough.

In addition to the standard version, which is priced at $38 USD and available to pre-order via Amazon, the publisher will be offering up an eye-popping ltd. edition version that you don't want to miss.

Priced at $600 USD and available to pre-order directly through Insight Editions, the ltd. edition version features an exclusive custom printed companion volume filled with candid and intimate on-set photography, a gorgeous deluxe clamshell case wrapped in saifu cloth and featuring copper-stamped bespoke imagery based on the Bene Gesserit designs created for the film, a cloth-bound prop reproduction of the Fremkit instruction pamphlet seen in the movie, and a numbered card (limited to the first 700 copies ordered) signed by the film's director, Denis Villeneuve, as well as Lapointe, Chalamet, DoP Greig Fraser, and Josh Brolin, who plays Gurney Halleck.
