Rejoice, people. Steven Spielberg has just announced that he will be bringing back the classic character Frank Bullitt, originally played by Steve McQueen in one of his most iconic roles.
The movie will be based on an original screenplay from Spotlight scribe Josh Singer, taking inspiration from the 1968 film Bullitt as well as the 1963 novel that came before it. It's being produced by Kristie Macosko Krieger alongside McQueen’s son, Chad McQueen, and granddaughter, Molly McQueen.
No casting news (or Ford Mustang details) has been announced just yet but make sure to stay plugged in here for all the updates.
