“You got to see the vast celestial everything and it blew your mind, so now nothing makes sense.” Lucy in the Sky, in a dreamy style, questions how astronauts can experience the humdrum reality of life on earth when they've lived off world and amongst the stars for so long.

The first feature film from Fargo showrunner and Before the Fall author Noah Hawley, who makes his directorial debut, there is plenty to get excited about here, including Hawley's suffocating 4:3 aspect ratio deployed in earthbound scenes, a star performance from Natalie Portman, and a murderer's row of supporting actors like Jon Hamm (Mad Men), Zazie Beetz (Atlanta), Nick Offerman (Parks and Rec), and Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey).

Take in the trailer above and expect this to this to land in theatres towards the end of the year, though no release date has been officially set.
