Each month a new batch of movies hit Netflix but Jan. 1 is especially noteworthy, as the streaming platform will be debuting a handful of modern masterpieces, like Kill Bill and Catch Me If You Can, as well as old favorites like Ferris Bueller's Day Off and The Talented Mr. Ripley, which might be the most stylish film of all time.
Oscar darling True Grit, starring Jeff Bridges, will also be making its Netflix debut, as will American Beauty, Pan's Labyrinth, The Circle, and Up in the Air. The Bling Ring is also set to premiere on the platform later in the month.
The movie we are most excited about, though, is Inception, which is, of course, the twisty sci-fi thriller from director Christopher Nolan. One of his best films to date, the 2010 movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ellen Page in supporting roles. It also introduced Tom Hardy to the world, who was an unknown at the time of its release, and cemented Cillian Murphy and Marion Cotillard as Nolan movie staples. Revisit the trailer above and make sure to catch the movie again when it drops this Wednesday.
