First 'Licorice Pizza' Trailer from Paul Thomas Anderson Arrives

MGM has just unleashed the excellent first trailer for Licorice Pizza from director Paul Thomas Anderson, which throws it back to the 70s for a laidback L.A. romp and gets elevated with help from "Life on Mars?" by David Bowie. It stars Cooper Hoffman, son of Phillip Seymour Hoffman, as Gary Valentine, and Alana Haim, one of the three sisters in Haim, as Alana Kane.

The coming-of-age story is set for a limited release on Nov. 26 before opening nationwide on Christmas day. Joining Hoffman and Haim will be Sean Penn and Bradley Cooper in supporting roles.
