For just shy of 11 minutes back in 1968, Steve McQueen was a god. Not only did his movie Bullitt win an Oscar for its authentic action and help earn him the nickname "The King of Cool," but it sparked a renaissance that led to movies like The Seven Ups, The French Connection, and arguably everything good on four wheels that followed after.
