Rejoice, people. HBO is teaming up with Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin on a new series based on the popular video game saga The Last of Us. And fortunately for fans of the series, creative director Neil Druckmann will be heavily involved.
Launched in 2013, the post-apocalyptic game series follows a hardened smuggler and a 14-year-old girl he's tasked to move out of an oppressive quarantine zone. Lots of swashbuckling action and heartbreak follow with brilliant storytelling and character moments weaved throughout. This should be good.
