Fortnite, the massively popular battle royale game that pits 100 players against each other in a fight to the death is finally heading to the Nintendo Switch. It's available today and free to download.

The exceedingly fun gameplay mechanics that blend fort building with gunplay has won over millions, including self-admitted Fortnite addicts Drake, Joel McHale, Vince Staples, Chance the Rapper, Joe Jonas, Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard, Travis Scott, dozens of NBA stars and NFL wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.

If you haven't given it a shot yet, it's worth a download on the platform of your choice. The art direction and playfulness is endearing (and often hilarious) while the challenging nature of the shooter makes each kill satisfying and hard earned. It's addicting in all the right ways.
