Airows Bookclub: The Spy Thriller 'Kingsman' Director Is Making Into a Movie

Read with us.

We are really excited to announce the new Airows bookclub, where our staff and the community of readers will be devouring one great book a month and discussing as much as possible.

First up is I Am Pilgrim: A Thriller by Terry Hayes, a book with fantastic reviews that Matthew Vaughan (Kingsman, X-Men: First Class) will be making into a movie.

A breakneck race against time…and an implacable enemy.

An anonymous young woman murdered in a run-down hotel, all identifying characteristics dissolved by acid.

A father publicly beheaded in the blistering heat of a Saudi Arabian public square.

A notorious Syrian biotech expert found eyeless in a Damascus junkyard.
Smoldering human remains on a remote mountainside in Afghanistan.
A flawless plot to commit an appalling crime against humanity.
One path links them all, and only one man can make the journey.

Sam and Jack discuss the book club and more in this episode of the podcast.

We'll be doing a recap podcast on the book at the end of August and might even have a few listeners call in and share their thoughts.

PS: For those that like to imagine a movie star in the role of a literary character, the author has stated his ideal choice to play "Pilgrim" on the silver screen would be Brad Pitt.
