Aaron Sorkin is best known for his writing, responsible for legendary movies like The Social Network and Moneyball as well as creating and helming The West Wing, undeniably the great political television series of all time. But he's also one hell of a director, as evident by poker thriller Molly's Game starring Jessica Chastain. (Which recently found a second life on Netflix. It's very good and you should check it out if you haven't.)
He's back with his second movie — The Trial of the Chicago 7 — which, like Molly's Game, he also penned. It's based on a true story and has a stellar cast including Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Watchmen), Eddie Redmayne (Fantastic Beasts), Jeremy Strong (Succession), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception), and Michael Keaton (Birdman).
