And The Color Of The Year Award Goes To...

Pantone throws a curveball.
Publish date:

For the first time ever, Pantone – the color warden – has decided to blend two shades and announce it as their Color of the Year for 2016.

The winners are Rose Quartz and Serenity.

"Joined together Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace." – Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director, Pantone Color Institute

These hues were meant to be side by side. We're looking forward to artist collaborations and seeing right-at-home colors coming together to form romantic vibes.
