Germany’s RAMP, the world’s coolest and best-designed cars and culture magazine, has opened its archive of incredible photographs for an amazing new book. A Passion For Cars from luxury publisher teNeues presents the best of the past seven years of avant-garde car coverage from the eye-popping publication, which often resembles a high-end fashion magazine.
In its first 30 issues RAMP has explored the idea that “a car is a part of our lives that can become an extension of our identities, a place where we touch, get behind the wheel, drive, pursue our passions, and experience the world.”
For cool cars that’s even more true, and in RAMP’s world the experience also involves lots of beautiful women, all shot by some of the world’s best photographers. The book honors the magazine’s 30th issue, which is coming out at the same time.
To celebrate RAMP publisher Michael Köckritz has also collected the best and most provocative images that for whatever reason never made it into the magazine. The large format A Passion for Cars, with text in German, English and French, is available from teNeues’ online store for $65.
