Sony Launches Electric Car Company

Sony appears to be joining the EV category in a big way, announcing the formation of Sony Mobility Inc. at CES 2022 in Las Vegas. The news comes alongside the reveal of the VISION-S 02 concept vehicle, which builds on the prototype shown off one year ago.

Seating up to seven people, the all-wheel-drive SUV packs two electric motors good for 400kW of power and is fitted with a number of eye-popping technology elements for an enhanced driving experience and better comfort.

As for the design, its overall spirit is quite striking and interesting. Modern, sleek, forward-thinking. "Feels like it should be priced in ETH," one could say.
