The Porsche Taycan is a special car. The only problem? It's very, very expensive. Luckily, the German automaker is doing something about it with the newly unveiled Taycan RWD.

The most affordable variant of the Taycan offered by Porsche, it will be available in each a standard model with 402 hp and a performance model with 469 hp. Both will offer a top speed of 143 mph and a 0-60 mph time of 5.1 seconds.

In terms of design detailing, the Taycan RWD will offer much of the same with little downside. The biggest change is 19" Aero wheels arriving standard but that's an easy upgrade for those who want something a little more dynamic. And much of the interior elements like a curved instrument cluster and a central 10.9" infotainment display remain intact.

Pricing will start at $81,250 USD, which, in comparison, is roughly $20,000 USD less than the Taycan 4S. The RWD model will also be exclusive to the U.S. market when it arrives in early Q2, though that might change quickly depending on popularity.
