Porsche has just revealed a GTS variant for the Taycan, which upscales the popular EV to 590 hp and a 0-60 mph time of just 3.5 seconds.
The charge time has also been improved, allowing you to go from 5% battery life to 80% battery life in just 22.5 minutes. The range is also expected to increase considerably, though no official numbers have been revealed.
In addition to the increased oomph, a mix of style moves elevates the Tesla-competitor over the standard trim including tinted black headlights, glossy black detailing throughout, stealthy all-black logo badges, and 20" Taycan Turbo S Aero Design wheels in satin black.
Porsche also gave the GTS treatment to the Taycan Sport Turismo, a new body style in the range that sits between the standard Taycan sedan and Taycan Cross Turismo wagon in terms of size, silhouette, and overall presence. It's further supercharged with a color-matched rear spoiler.
Landing at dealers in Q2 of 2022, pricing for the Taycan GTS and Taycan Sport Turismo GTS is expected to fall around the $150,000 USD mark.
