At SEMA in Las Vegas, Ford revealed a custom 1978 Ford F-100 powered by a pair of electric motors good for 480 hp and 634 lb-ft of torque.
Unfortunately, the car is only a mere concept. But it is in celebration of Ford's new electric crate motor dubbed the Eluminator, which aims to support bespoke builders electrifying classic and collector cars.
You won't have to wait for the e-crate motor, either, as it's already available to special order via their parts/performance division. It's priced at $3,900 USD.
As for the restomod on display here, Ford loaded it up with a number of tasteful upgrades led by a stunning Avalanche Gray finish with Cerakote Copper accenting. Other changes include a billet aluminum dashboard by JJR Fabrication, avocado-tanned leather by MDM Upholstery, and custom 19x10 aluminum wheels by Forgelin paired with Michelin Latitude performance tires.
