BMW has just revealed new versions of the M3 and M4 featuring the larger and more aggressive kidney grille redesign, which we happen to love but certain purists are taking a pass on. It's due out in March of next year with pricing starting at around $70,000 USD for the M3 and $72,000 USD for the M4.

In addition to the aesthetic shift, both models are now powered by a 473 hp 3.0L inline-six that can bump up to 503 hp with the Competition package. You'll have your choice of a standard six-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission and for those who upgrade to the Competition package, xDrive all-wheel-drive will be on the table for the first time.

The German motoring house is also offering a variety of optional add-ons, most notably the very stylish M Carbon exterior package and Shadowline trim.
