TaylorMade has just unveiled a reinterpreted 300 Mini Driver, which modernizes the early 2000s classic with proprietary Twist Face technology and more while keeping the smaller shape (307cc) and shorter length (43.75 inches). Phil Mickelson has been known to experiment with the Mini Driver in the past and it's become a bit of a cult icon in the golf world, especially with certain amateur circles.
The idea of the club isn't to maximize distance, rather, it's here to offer maximum control and a healthy amount of forgiveness to help you find fairways. Which frankly, is what most golfers need. It also brings off-the-deck flexibility to the bag whenever you're in a pinch.
Set to land on July 16, you're looking at $399 USD to get this in the kit.
