Nike just dropped their next generation running shoe, dubbed the LunarEpic Flyknit, which is the most Nike-y sounding name for a sneaker ever.
It's clearly inspired by their highly-popular Magista football boot from both a style and performance perspective, which is a good thing, considering the accolades that thing has received from both professional soccer players and fans of great design.
It features a one-piece Flyknit upper, extended collar feature to better secure the foot, plus enhanced cushioning and flexibility.
The ankle high collar design might not mesh with more traditional running enthusiasts, but we think it's a really sharp, forward-thinking look.
These running shoes could look cool with some casual off-the-track outfits too, provided you have the confidence to pull of brightly colored sneakers with your weekend wear.
Right now, they're available for $175 at Nike's online store. We'd advise getting your order in ASAP if you're interested in being one of the first to snag these. Most times Nike drop a big release like this, they sell out quickly.
