It doesn't matter what your interest level is in Formula 1. You could be a NASCAR devotee, frankly. You owe it to yourself to check out Formula 1: Drive to Survive, the new docu-series from Netflix and the producers of Senna. It's that good.
Far exceeding like-minded formats like All of Nothing or Hard Knocks, the series goes inside the cockpit with high-octane intensity, focusing on an interesting cast of heroes and villains. It doesn't feature much of Mercedes and Ferrari, instead focusing on the scrappy and highly competitive middle-tier and lower-tier teams, resulting in a fascinating mix of characters, personalities, privilege, money, ego, respect, hard work, and so much more. On the surface, it's a reality show with really fast cars and champagne. At its core, it's a very special and very addictive human drama. Cue it up this weekend and fall into their world.
