Love this art series because it's really just a celebration of two icons. The series was created in the late 70's as a collaboration between Warhol and Richard Weisman, an art collector and avid sports admirer. Interestingly enough, the original paintings were stolen from Weisman's collection in September of 2009 and authorities have yet to track them down.
