Create the most popular video game in the world, sell it to Microsoft for $2.5 billion, and live like a freaking king. Pretty simple. Although the house isn't the coolest place in the world---money doesn't always buy taste---it's outrageously impressive that Markus Persson---the creator of Minecraft---did everything the right way, is massively respected by the industry, never ripped anyone off, and gets to celebrate by outbidding Jay-Z and Beyonce on a $70 million Beverly Hills home. It's the most expensive house in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the world, and the fact that he casually outbid two gigantic celebrities makes it even better. Good for him.
