When function meets good design.

Most every home needs a handful of power supply ports around the house. You could go with your regular 'ol plastic version, the kind you desperately try to hide from sight, or you could enter the big leagues with this over-the-top option from Shinola.

Created in partnership with GE, the die-cast metal power supply unit has five electrical slots and two USB ports, comes complete with an eight-foot flexible and durable cloth cord, and has all the quality and craftsmanship you'd expect from anything with the name Shinola on it.

Though it's certainly on the pricey side–$175 to be exact–it's a thoughtfully designed replacement for something that's normally so rudimentary and ugly. If you're all about the details, this is all systems go.
